- How do I find out about clinical trials SKC is funding?

- Is SKC a nonprofit organization?
Yes. Solving Kids’ Cancer is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization designated by the Internal Revenue Code as a public charity. This means that they can accept contributions and offer donors a tax deduction for their gifts. For donors, this means your contributions are fully tax-deductible to the amount allowed by law. The email or print acknowledgment you receive from Solving Kids’ Cancer does meet all the IRS requirements as a record of donation.

All of it — 100% of all donations we receive go to scientific development of therapies for the deadliest childhood cancers.
100% of SKC’s non-research expenses are underwritten by our Board of Directors. We do this so that all of your money goes to our main purpose: solving kids' cancer. A challenge like this deserves 100% from everyone.
- Can I make a donation in honor or in memory of someone?
Yes. You can dedicate your donation to someone using the donation page. When you use this feature, you can also send a customized electronic communication to those individuals or family members you are donating on behalf of.
- What is a corporate matching gift and how can I make one?
Many large corporations have matching gift programs and will match your donation to a charitable organization. It's an easy way to double or even triple your personal contributions to Solving Kids’ Cancer. Talk to your human resources representative to find out if your company has such a program and how you can participate.
- Can I run my own fundraising event?
Yes. You can create your own effort in nearly any area of interest to support SKC. It’s easy to do and manage. Learn more now.
- Can I volunteer for SKC?
Because we are a small office, it is impossible to accommodate all the wonderful, enthusiastic people who want to give their time and energy to our cause. However, we do offer some volunteer and internship opportunities for people in the metro NY area wishing to donate their time to solve kids’ cancer. For more information please contact us.
