Sept. 1, 2015 – NEW YORK – Solving Kids’ Cancer, a non-profit organization in New York City that funds innovative childhood cancer research, was recently contacted by an anonymous donor who vowed to help spread awareness and increase research funding throughout the month of September.

September is National Childhood Cancer Awareness Month, and the concept is simple: to join Solving Kids’ Cancer in honoring those children who are undergoing treatment, celebrating those who have won the battle, and remembering those who we have lost by sharing social media posts with the hashtag #CCAM throughout the month.  The anonymous donor has agreed to donate $1 for every share up to $10,000.

“This is a wonderful opportunity to raise awareness while driving donations to help us fund life-saving research,” said Scott Kennedy, Solving Kids’ Cancer Co-Founder. “Across the globe, funding for childhood cancer research pales in comparison to the funding for adult cancers, and we strongly believe that every kid deserves to grow up.”

Solving Kids’ Cancer finds, funds and manages clinical trials geared toward next-generation treatments for children; including immunotherapy, cancer vaccines, and innovative drugs. Help to improve the future for children with life-threatening cancers by sharing #CCAM and raising awareness throughout the month of September.
