T-cell CAR Therapy for pediatric solid tumors

January 30, 2015
Recently, T-cell CAR immunotherapy has resulted in dramatic complete remissions in early phase clinical trials for children with ALL, and adults with CLL. These results have opened the door for immune cell therapy to treat and potentially cure aggressive and deadly cancers, and may be applied to other cancers like neuroblastoma, sarcomas and brain tumors.

In which pediatric cancer types are T-cell CARs closest to the clinic?
Dr. Stephan Grupp, a pioneering immunotherapy researcher for pediatric cancer, will discuss the current state of progress and future opportunities using T-cell CARs for pediatric solid tumors.
