Leadership Changes at Solving Kids’ Cancer

Exciting New Leadership and Growth for Solving Kids’ Cancer in 2025
New York, NY – Solving Kids’ Cancer (SKC) is pleased to announce significant organizational updates as it embarks on an exciting new chapter in 2025. With growth across its Board of Directors and executive leadership, the organization is soundly dedicated to its mission to find, fund, and advocate for breakthrough treatment options for children with the deadliest forms of cancer.
Mark Savoye, Vice President at Mastercard, and Channing Stave, Chief Operating Officer at Newristics, have been appointed as Co-Chairs of SKC’s Board of Directors. Having served on the board of directors for more than a decade, both bring a wealth of strategic expertise and a dedicated passion for SKC’s mission, positioning the organization for continued success and impact. John London, SKC’s co-founder and Chair of the Board will become Chair Emeritus.
To strengthen its leadership, SKC is thrilled to welcome two distinguished new members to its Board of Directors: Michele Alexander, Partner at Barnes & Thornburg and Catherine Murchie, Head of Operations at Paze. These accomplished professionals bring diverse expertise in business, finance and operations, further enriching the board’s capacity to guide SKC’s vision. Michele and Catherine will serve as co-Secretaries of the Board. Eyal Soffer, Director of Technical Accounting at Twilio, will continue his role as Treasurer.
Scott Kennedy, Executive Director and co-founder of SKC, has transitioned to a new role with the Pediatric Brain Tumor Foundation (PBTF). Scott’s leadership and dedication have been instrumental in advancing SKC’s mission, and his contributions will have a lasting impact.
As the Board of Directors conducts a search for new organizational leadership, executive responsibilities will be assumed by Donna Ludwinski, Director of Research Advocacy, and Kristi McKay, Director of Operations. Both bring years of leadership experience and will ensure SKC’s operations and initiatives remain seamless and impactful during this transition.
