Hosts Dr. Timothy Cripe and Dr. Ryan Roberts (Nationwide Children’s Hospital), interview Dr. Matthew Breen, NC State Veterinary Medicine, to explore the question “Can dogs teach us new tricks when it comes to cancer treatment?”  In this podcast, Dr. Breen shares his research pertaining to the comparisons between the dog and the human genome, and how these studies might enable researchers to first try therapies in dogs who develop cancer, and translate findings to see the potential benefit to human patients in a way that is much faster than using traditional modalities toward progress.
